About Us

We are a garden centre owned by the Fifth Trust Charity set up to enable adults with learning difficulties to experience meaningful employment within our day centre.

Students come every day to work in the garden centre alongside an instructor, they get involved with all the daily jobs that need to be done, potting, pricing, labelling plants, watering, stock control, serving customers, handling money and tidying.

Our aim is “creating opportunities for adults with learning difficulties” we want to offer every one of our students who attend the day centre the opportunity to experience everyday life and be able to go out and work a 9 to 5 day, this builds confidence within people and maintains a healthier out look to life.
